Privacy Policy
How Knowilo collects, uses and protects information when you use our marketing intelligence platform.
1. Who we are
Knowilo provides organization-based marketing intelligence workspaces. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to admin@knowilo.com.
2. Information we collect
We collect account and workspace information such as your name, work email, organization name, website and industry. We also collect operational records needed to secure the service, diagnose errors and record when integrations run.
When you connect Google, Knowilo requests read-only access to the Google services you approve. This can include:
- Google Search Console properties and aggregated search performance, including clicks, impressions, click-through rate, average position and search queries.
- Google Analytics properties and aggregated metrics such as sessions, active and new users, page views, engagement rate and key events.
- Your Google account email, granted OAuth scopes and an encrypted refresh token used to perform scheduled collection.
When you connect Meta, Knowilo requests read-only access to the Meta business and advertising resources you approve. This can include:
- Your connected Meta profile name and identifier, granted permissions and an encrypted access token used to perform scheduled collection.
- The names and identifiers of advertising accounts that the connected Meta profile is authorized to access, including their associated business portfolio where Meta provides it.
- Aggregated advertising performance such as campaign spend, impressions, reach, clicks, click-through rate and reported actions.
PageSpeed Insights analyses public website URLs and returns technical performance, accessibility, best-practice and SEO scores. Knowilo may also collect public website and market information from sources configured by your organization.
3. How we use information
We use this information to authenticate users, operate secure workspaces, collect approved data, create dashboard visualizations and evidence-backed insights, run weekly refreshes, provide support, prevent abuse and improve reliability.
Knowilo's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Google user data is used only to provide or improve the user-facing features you authorize. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or transfer it to data brokers.
4. Storage, security and sharing
Integration credentials are encrypted at rest. Workspace data is protected with organization-level access controls and row-level database security. Data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS.
We share information only with service providers needed to operate Knowilo—such as hosting, database, authentication and authorized data-collection providers—under appropriate confidentiality and security obligations, or where required by law. We do not sell personal information.
5. Retention, disconnection and deletion
We retain workspace information and collected measurements while the workspace is active and as reasonably needed for security, legal obligations and service continuity. You can disconnect Google or Meta from Knowilo's Integrations page or revoke access from the connected provider. Revocation stops future collection and Knowilo deletes the stored credential for that integration.
To request export, correction or deletion of your Knowilo account, connected credentials or stored integration data, email admin@knowilo.com. We will verify the request and respond in accordance with applicable law.
Instructions specifically covering Meta data are available on our Data Deletion page.
6. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, or receive a portable copy of personal information. You may also withdraw consent for a connected service without affecting earlier lawful processing.
7. Changes
We may update this policy as Knowilo develops. Material changes will be communicated in the service or by email, and the effective date above will be updated.
